Last match before ended to 2019. Manchester united now at 6th position are still fighting to keep in track.
Manchester United’s mini revival following the sacking of José Mourinho has seen the ‘Red Devils’ record consecutive 2+ goal margin league wins for the first time since January. Another emphatic victory could be possible here, as Bournemouth travel to Old Trafford having lost their last four Premier League (PL) away matches, including a 5-0 thumping at the hands of Tottenham on Boxing Day.
A 3-1 home victory over Huddersfield midweek made it seven home league games unbeaten for United (W4, D3), but also continued an overall trend that has now seen both teams score in six consecutive PL matches (home and away). Unsurprisingly then, the hosts have had more league fixtures end with over 2.5 goals (16), and over 3.5 goals (11), than any other team this term.
