Everton conclude a quintet of Premier League (PL) home matches against top-six opposition, having returned a healthy record of: W2, D1, L1, from such games prior to kick-off, and taken seven points out of the last nine available from them. Only the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City saw one team win both halves.
Despite being victim to a one-sided H2H PL record overall, Everton boast an excellent PL return from home matches played against Manchester United in the month of April: W3, L1. Three of those games have produced over 1.5 goals and granted Everton the first two match goals.
For their part, Manchester United squads have won to-nil in their last four PL victories at Goodison Park, most recently doing so in last season’s corresponding fixture (2-0).
