Arsène Wenger admitted that Arsenal were suffering more November woe after their 2-2 draw with PSG on Wednesday.
“We have not lost, but we have lost a winning momentum a little bit but we played against a good team. I believe I have to be careful on the choice of my words. I say ‘stuttering’ and it comes back at me. We have a special strength in the squad, a consistency in results. We are unbeaten in 18 games. Sometimes you go through spells when you win a bit less. But we have to continue without losing and transform draws into wins. There’s no reason to panic.”
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe accepts not being able to play on-loan midfielder Wilshere against his parent club will be a “big miss” but is confident his players can still produce a positive result.
“He will be a big miss for us. I feel Jack has got better each week.
“When I look back at the last game against Stoke, he was excellent for us and was the key link between midfield and attack.
“Also his defensive displays for me have been superb and are undervalued, how good he is without the ball, how clever he is with the positions he takes up to protect our midfield.
“He is going to be a big miss in both disciplines, with and without the ball this week.”
