The Airmarine Cup 2019 hosts Malaysia will now face Afghanistan to secure the third place in this year’s edition of the ongoing tournament.
Malaysia lost their semi-final match against Singapore after conceding one goal. Despite the goal being scored quite late in the game, they failed to counter any of their opponents’ attack throughout the game.
Their opponents, Afghanistan suffered a brutal loss 0-5 loss against Oman and bid adieu to their hopes of playing in the final. Now, both the teams will look to secure the third place and will bring their best to the game scheduled for today on 4:30 pm.
Considering the performance of both the teams in their semi-final matches, Malaysia looks to be a stronger side ahead of their impending encounter against Afghanistan.
