Brighton have managed just one win in their previous six league matches (W1, D2, L3). However, their 3-1 away victory at Bournemouth in the FA Cup did relieve some of the pressure on the South-Coast side. Notably, it was just their second two-goal margin victory across all competitions this season.
Home form has been key for the ‘Seagulls’ so far, with only the top-six bettering their home points return of 18 (W5, D3, L2). Yet with leaders Liverpool coming to town, they will be desperate to improve on their record of just one win against any of the Premier League’s (PL) current top-eight sides (W1, D2, L5).
