Serie A (SA) leaders, Juventus will welcome 18th-placed Bologna to the Allianz Stadium with the visitors – winless in their last 12 SA away matches – hoping to record their first victory over the defending champions since 2011.
As was expected by many, Juventus started the season by winning their first five SA matches. A win here will see them maintain a recent tradition of winning their first six league games for the third-season running. The hosts haven’t been running away with matches however, scoring exactly two goals in four of their five fixtures so far, with five of their last six goals coming in the second-half.
For Bologna, who gained their only win of the campaign against Roma (2-0) in their last outing, their four points in five games is the club’s worst start to a league campaign since the 2015/2016 season. Despite a terrible recent away record, Bologna don’t often lose games by a large margin, with five of their last six away losses coming with a 1-0 scoreline.
