Managing one measly shot on-target (and none in the final hour) in their last outing, Arsenal’s current points and goal-difference marks the club’s worst start to a top-flight campaign since 1982. The Gunners’ 2-0 defeat to Leicester (Nov 9) was their third successive Premier League (PL) match to see them lose the second half ‘to-nil’.
Arsenal at least remains unbeaten at home this season in the league (W3, D3), with both teams scoring in five of those matches. All three draws in that group saw each side win one half apiece by a one-goal margin.
