Watford’s winless run in the Premier League (PL) currently stands at 14 games (D6, L8) with five of the last six losses in that group seeing them lose by a margin of over 1.5 goals and concede a penalty goal or own-goal.

Within Watford’s winless league run is a sequence of D4, L5, at home, with four of those five defeats seeing the ‘Hornets’ lose the first half ‘to-nil’. Furthermore, Watford recovered just two points out of a possible 15 from the five games within that sequence to see the trail at the break.

Each of Chelsea’s five PL away games this season have produced over 3.5 total goals (W4, L1), with all of the wins producing over 4.5! Three of those victories saw the first half alone produce three or more total goals.
