Its a favorite match for fans Manchester united. Sadly to najib razak cannot watch this match because he just arrested. Never-mind.
It’s been a long road for Swiss champions Young Boys, who make their Champions League (CL) group stage debut after six failed attempts. Their prize is a group that features European heavyweights Juventus, Valencia, and this game’s opponents – three-time CL winners Manchester United.
The Swiss outfit coasted to last season’s Super League title, finishing 15 points ahead of Basel – a team United lost to in Switzerland (1-0) during last year’s CL campaign. Young Boys started this season as they left off, winning their first six games and already sit eight clear at the top.
Yet in continental competition the Bern-based side are far less dominant – winning three of their last 12 fixtures (W3, D4, L5).
They face a United team that topped their CL group last season, but have lost their last two games in Switzerland. However José Mourinho’s side remain a force to be reckoned with, losing just three of their last 20 European matches (W13, D4, L3).
After defeat in their first Premier League away game, United have won their last two on the road and are starting to look like the side that finished second in 2017/18.
Players to watch: Guillaume Hoarau was Young Boys’ top scorer last season. He has four goals in the Super League so far.
In great form for United already this season, Romelu Lukaku scored five goals for Everton against Young Boys in a 2014/15 Europa League tie.

Stat attack: Young Boys have been winning at half-time in their last five league games.
Young Boys have won just one out of six matches against English teams in Europe (W1, D1, L4), scoring ten goals and conceding 20.
United scored an average of two goals a game in the CL group stage last season – the only game they failed to score in, was their defeat at Swiss-side Basel.
