Antoine Griezmann is the man of the moment.
The Atletico Madrid star released a decent advert earlier this week. And now he’s confirmed he’s on his way to the Premier League.
That’s right.
Speaking to French TV programme, Telefoot, the forward claims he will move to England’s top flight when he decides to leave Atletico Madrid.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the Euro 2016 star – and are set for a summer race to land the forward. In fact, some reports claim the Red Devils have already held talks with the 25-year-old.
Griezmann has made secret of his desire to join Old Trafford – and link up with international team-mate Paul Pogba. His brother is known to be a huge fan of Jose Mourinho’s side – so these latest comments are sure to excite supporters of the Premier League side.
“PSG is an interesting project but I don’t want to move to Ligue 1 now,” he said.
‘I prefer to stay in La Liga or the Premier League.
“If I had to leave La Liga today, it will be for England.
What does it mean for poor old Wayne Rooney through?
