Over the last ten gameweeks, Tottenham (W8, L2) have crept closer to the top two. They can win stylishly, but also grind out results, as evidenced by the fact that Mauricio Pochettino’s men have strung together three one-goal margin victories in a row in the league.
Ending 5-4 to the hosts, last season’s corresponding fixture at Wembley was a late contender for ‘game of the season’, and more goals should be guaranteed. Yet to play a draw in the Premier League (PL) so far, Tottenham are also one of just three teams who are yet to see a goalless match this season.
