The fight for survival goes head to head with the hunt for the title as Huddersfield welcome Manchester City to Kirklees Stadium. The home side are bottom of the league and eight points adrift of safety, and earlier this week parted ways with manager David Wagner in an attempt to better a points return of just 0.5 per match.
Last season, a heroic draw against City in May was part of Huddersfield’s remarkable late escape from relegation. This season’s match against the ‘Citizens’ ended in a 6-1 thumping defeat however, and they enter this match with eight defeats in their last nine matches (D1).
